I am a bit puzzled.

a) I called Energy Australia just now to investigate their work description planned for the 29th of June.

The lady I spoke to was Pauline. She spoke to her manager and checked their database and neither could find any details of the scheduled work.

She also said that it was possible that someone else had ordered it and then they would not have details of the work listed in their database. That would mean the scheduled work is actually not because Energy Australia needs an upgrade, but because of Optus needs!?

b) I also left a voice message for Rob Taylor on his mobile. I am hopeful he would reply soon.

c) I am worried that the whole work is actually not because our complex need more power, but Optus needs it.

If so, then let Optus be aware that they are not guaranteed to get access to our complex even if they pay for this "upgrade". And even more, that means they are desperate to get access to our complex because we are very cheap and financially viable for them.

At this stage, some things look a bit strange and we need to continue investigating.

I am also contacting both Energy Australia and, in my case, AGL, to request discount for the next billing due to lack of power supply for eight hours.

On average, the hourly rate for the electricity subscription is around 34 cents, so a "discount" of at least 10 cents is due. I will certainly force my provider to make sure I get it. It is not a matter of money but a matter of principle. No supply means no payment :)

If anyone else has any other information to share, please do it.

Regards,

I have also spoken to AGL. They do not have any details of the scheduled work.
