Hello,

Tomorrow an EGM will be held and I will attend in person.

Please ensure that all ballot papers and accompanying documents (not only for this voting but all other business affairs) be kept in order.

Sadly, there were cases where evidence was destroyed (refer to Motion 4 at the AGM in 2001 as an example):

BEGIN QUOTE

It was agreed that the ballot papers be destroyed after the meeting.

END QUOTE

One needs to ask why there such a decisive action straight after the meeting...

As a reminder, NSW Strata Management Acts and Regulations are very clear about record keeping. They, among the other things, impose the following rules:

The owners corporation must keep the following information for AT LEAST FIVE YEARS:

Details of motions passed;

Copies of all correspondence received and sent;

Notices of owners corporation and executive committee meetings;

Receipts consecutively numbered;

A passbook, a bank deposit book, or a statement of deposits and withdrawals in order of date, that are bound or kept in a loose-leaf folder;

A cash book;

A levy register.

Proxies given to the owners corporation must be kept for at least 5 years after the proxy expires.

and so on...

I called CTTT two days ago to inquire about my Case as I am very eager to proceed further (in light of new evidence).

The possibility of some documents being removed or modified has been flagged.

Regards,
