Subject: | FOR SP52948 RECORDS: Smoking in garage area continues, exposed wiring on elevators panels, and some owner complaining to security guard - status on 6Oct2019 |
Date: | 6/10/19, 9:17 pm |
a) Firstly, whilst passing by office on ground floor of Block A, we witnessed some owner or tenant complaining to security guard about elevators at around 20:15 hours this evening (6 October 2019).
b) In regards to smoking, these breaches of the by-law have been collected when Lot 158 and/or their visitors were walking through basement area:
1 September 2019 - basement area near Block A at 21:16 hours.
6 September 2019 - basement area near Block A at 18:52 hours. Fire door 2 was closed before the scheduled time as per elevator upgrade notices.
10 September 2019 - basement area near Block A at 12:15 hours.
11 September 2019 - basement area near Block A. Three times between hours of 11:30 and 15:30.
12 September 2019 - basement area near Block A at 1916 hours.
16 September 2019 - basement area near Block A. At 13:30 and around 14:00 hours.
25 September 2019 - basement area near Block A at 19:45 hours.
2 October 2019 - basement area near Block A at 19:45 hours. Van parked near garage of the smoker.
6 October 2019 - basement area near Block A at 20:10 hours.
c) OH&S issue. Exposed wiring on each and every floor due to missing panels in Block A. Even if the electricity were switched off (which needs to be checked and verified), it would still be a safety risk as small children can run towards those wires and hurt their faces and eyes. The exposed wiring has been like that for several days, with maintenance staff fully aware of it and not taking any action.

Hi,
Issue with smoking in SP52948 continues.
A specific, well-known owner was observed smoking in their garage on:
a) 1 August 2019 at around 19:00 hours. By coincidence, EC member from
Lot 147 was moving near garage and surrounding areas, so he would surely
have smelled the cigarette smoke but appeared not to take any action.
b) 25 August 2019 at around 19:58 hours. Strong smell was felt all the
way to the rubbish bins and surrounding area.
