Subject: Thank you for quick job assignment: REQUEST FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT: Unit 158 - Accident with vent grille in one bathroom - 9Feb2020
Date: 10/2/20, 5:28 pm

Good afternoon,

Handyman called us this morning and we discussed the options.

He proposed to simply put screws into the ceiling (because allegedly it is difficult to find new parts).

Which we rejected for these reasons:

a) It would not be possible to take the vent grille down for cleaning with soapy water.

b) It would not be possible to properly vacuum clean the opening in the ceiling.

c) Not cleaning vent grille regularly would create health hazard as the amount of grease and grime accumulates very quickly in this complex.

d) A dirty vent grille would not work efficiently.

e) Health is of the paramount importance for our family.

We hope that no other owner has vent grilles screwed into the ceiling in this complex as it would be a wrong solution to the problem.

The handyman was asked to source the proper solution and report back with the date of planned work.

Regards,

Good afternoon,

Whilst we were absent from home today, vent grille in one bathroom fell out into the bathtub. We found out about it upon our return.

Photo evidence is enclosed herewith. We will leave the vent grille in the bathtub as we found it.

Video evidence is kept as a secondary proof of the event.

Lot 158 submits the following request:

Would you please organize the replacement or proper repair of the 23-year old vent grille as soon as practicable (without any cost to Lot 158).

Thank you,
