Simon,

Due to lack of proper actions by you and the executive committee, there is obviously a person in the complex who feels that I am the one who is causing "trouble". What is sad is the fact that this person obviously has no idea what they are talking about and is not even looking at other issues in the complex!

This is a single instance of such negative comments.
No other owner (apart from the committee members themselves) has even expressed such attitude.

I do not mind what any owner feels or says as long as they give EVERYONE the right to talk and question the committee and you.

Not only this letter is anonymous and cowardly, but it shows great immaturity of the person writing it. It also highlights the fact that due to your lack of action to inform the owners, you are creating a dangerous precedence.

Your duties as a managing agent are so well defined:

I will not stop doing what is right because there is only one way to resolve the problems - open talks and proofs. This certainly makes me even more determined.

The Police has been informed and the case is now open. I have taken other actions that I cannot reveal.

I have also notified your headquarters and will initiate the process that ensures we all play fair.

You should explain to the owners that CTTT and Department of Fair Trading did not even review the Optus case, but that is only a part of our problems (you will have to tell the owners that I withdrew the case temporarily because the committee had expressed their intention to use owners' corporation funds to "fight" the case. I did not agree that they should spend OUR money on defending what is not defendable. So, they did not win, the case was simply not HEARD YET! Your duty is to report FACTS.

We have so many other issues to discuss and face.

My priority is to prevent bad business practices, loss of our investment funds due to bad projects, unexplained expenses, and lack or transparency.

I want MY property to grow and I am sure the other owners want the same too. I worked hard and sincere and nobody will be allowed to waste my efforts in building wealth for the future.
Any action by the committee and the managing agent needs to be verified and questioned.
